I am working on the 2011 Fall sale list. This list features around thirty daylilies at reduced prices (with a small minimum). If you’re on the mailing list or e-mail list you will get a flyer/notice in the near future (if you’re, not, maybe you want to be?).

Most of the sale daylilies will be different from the sale daylilies from the past two years. I’m trying to get a good mix ~ out of the options I have. It’s turning out to be pretty heavy on the pink and purple, though!

Antique/Vintage/Collectible: lamps, clocks, Depression Glass, Carnival Glass, Fire King (including jadite), other glassware, linens, costume jewelry, records, and more.

Also, a 1988 Gibson Country Gentleman guitar. Wine-red. Bigsby vibrato tail piece. Never been played. Excellent condition.

Regular yard sale items too: books, clothing, linens, fabric, and more.

Serviceberry in spring

Serviceberry 'Princess Diana'

I planted this in my Woodland Garden. I chose this variety because it was supposed to have large, sweet fruits. It does but I rarely get any before the catbirds get them.

Mount Rogers ~ the tallest mountain in Virginia

It’s the center hump (at least we think that’s it!). Doesn’t look like much, does it? It is, however, 5729 ft at the highest point. It’s just that everything around it is close to that so there is no contrast! I was probably pretty high up where I took the pictures.
